Women of LIFE LogoEach year Women of LIFE (Lutherans in Fellowship and Evangelism) leaders or AALC Pastors have written Bible studies using a 12 month format. Some groups study together monthly, others meet weekly with the same study at their pace. There is a study guide to facilitate discussion.

Bible Study for 2010

"How Did I Get Here"
prepared by Rev. Dick Hueter, Pastoral Advisor

These studies are about familiar Bible characters who used or misused the golden opportunities given them by a loving Heavenly Father. As we look at the facets of their lives, we wonder if they ever stopped to look at the twists and turns their lives had taken.

Some started out so well, and then turned to making poor choices, beginning with trusting their insights rather than trusting God's Word. Others started out as losers, but heard and trusted God's promises, and became thankful people of God.

Did they ever stop to ask themselves, "How Did I Get Here?" or did they just continue to bumble along life's way?
